The candidate will supervise and/or perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, modification, installation and commissioning of electrical equipment in European operational facilities; third party facilities; joint ventures and subsidiaries. He will be expected to interface with vendors, contractors and technical departments to help complete tasks to the right standard. He will also be expected to write reports and suggest areas for improvement after carrying out field related tasks.

The position has a strong requirement for flexibility in terms of availability and travel. This is due to the need to carry out plant shutdown activities and emergency related field work at a variety of locations across Europe. The successful applicant therefore needs to be self-motivating and to have good initiative.

Mínimo: The Electrical Field Engineer must be familiar with electrical equipment as induction and synchronous motors, protective relays, switchgear, starters, control systems, transformers, generators, and electrical distribution systems, also ability to read electrical control drawings. When required have to communicate in English, both spoken and written word, so fluency in English is a must. At least 3 to 5 years of experience of electrical systems, large induction and synchronous motor drives and electrical distribution systems. Degree in Technical Electrical Engineering or similar is required.
