Multinational logistic company
Reporting to the Operations Manager, key responsibilities are:
- Ensure all costs are maintained and accurate in GCM
- Scan any PODs that are returned by carrier
- Process invoices through GCM and check they match the costs captured in the system
- Booking in transport with end customer as required
- Ensure all KPis are recorded correctly and actioned accordingly
- Assigning loads to carriers and booking resource with third party carriers
- Monitor import errors that occur in the import process communicate to the customer.
- To liaise with the customers despatch, customer service and manufacturing planning functions to ensure all operational and planning efficiency's are maximised.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the customer, ensuring actions are consistent with their business plan
- Be proactive in developing business activity
- Checking and highlighting any claused pods
- Maintaining correct costs and additional costs in GCM

- Ability to work under pressure in a calm and constructive manner
- A flexible approach to work
- Organised, structured approach to work
- Proactive in their ability to problem solve
- PC literate with experience of spreadsheets and databases and word processing.
- English language skills preferred
